Did you know that more than 30 percent of BC’s threatened or endangered species depend on grasslands for their survival?

The Grasslands Conservation Council of British Columbia was established as a society in August 1999, and as a registered charity in December 2001. 

The GCC has played a major role in grassland conservation initiatives through the support and alliance of organizations and individuals dedicated to the conservation and stewardship of BC’s grasslands.
